This hands-on training teaches about sampling plans and instrument calibration, including how to use prints and specifications for inspection and a review of test reports. The course covers quality programs and system requirements, thread inspection, dimensional inspection and inspection of recesses and drives. The series of seven CFS classes/plant tours can be taken in any order. Given the advanced technical nature of this program, it is highly recommended that participants have at least two years of experience in fastener sales, purchasing, manufacturing or quality assurance or have completed FTI’s three-part Product Training Program, available through our Online Learning Library.
