COURSE OVERVIEW
Whether you are a fastener distributor, importer, manufacturer or end-
user, knowing a few things about fastener quality can prevent a lot of
problems. This hands-on training teaches about sampling plans and
instrument calibration, including how to use prints and specifications for
inspection and a review of test reports. The course covers quality
programs and system requirements, thread inspection, dimensional
inspection and inspection of recesses and drives.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
One-day CFS classes are best for those wanting to spread out training
rather than completing an accelerated format through Fastener Training
Week. The series of seven CFS classes/plant tours can be taken in any
order.
Given the advanced technical nature of this program, it is highly
recommended that participants have at least two years of experience in
fastener sales, purchasing, manufacturing or quality assurance or have
completed FTI’s three-part Product Training Program, available through
our Online Learning Library.
Please note: each participant is REQUIRED to bring a calculator.

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing no later
than two weeks before the start of class and are subject to a $350
processing fee. Individuals will receive a written confirmation of
cancellation from Fastener Training Institute. All no-shows will be
invoiced for full registration fees. The Fastener Training Institute reserves
the right to change instructors or cancel seminars and cannot be held
responsible for costs incurred other than the registration fee.
