The Fastener Training Institute (FTI) continues its partnership with the
Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI) to present Fastener Training Week. This
session will be held in conjunction with Fastener Fair USA in Charlotte,
North Carolina, and features virtual tours and in-depth presentations from
FTI suppliers - including a quality lab, cold header and secondary
processor. Registration includes entry to Fastener Fair and the
networking party.
Fastener Training Week offers five intensive days of education and plant
tours as part of FTI’s Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) advanced
technical training program. After completion and passing a final exam,
attendees are eligible for CFS designation.
The week features learning labs, case-studies, interactive exercises and
quizzes to reinforce learning taught by industry experts. Content includes
manufacturing processes, consensus standards, quality control as well as
manufacturing, quality lab and secondary processing facility tours.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
Fastener Training Week is ideal for fastener distributors, engineers, end-
users, manufacturers, OEMs, quality assurance professionals and sales
professionals. The training is advanced, so it is recommended attendees
have two years of experience or complete FTI’s Fastener Basics or
Product Training in advance.

REQUIRED MATERIALS
Each participating company is REQUIRED to bring a copy of either the
11th or 12th edition of the IFI Inch Fastener Standards book. 12th edition
books can be ordered through FTI but must be done so two weeks prior to
class. Select “IFI Inch Standards Book” during registration check-out.
PRICING AND REGISTRATION
Registration fees are per person. Company groups or teams are
encouraged.
Single participant: $3300

Association Members (Pac-West, NFDA, IFI, MWFA, NCFA and SFA

All prices increase by $500 on May 21.
Monday instruction begins at 10 a.m. and Friday instruction ends at 12
p.m. Please make travel arrangements accordingly.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made in writing no later
than two weeks before the start of Fastener Training Week and are
subject to a $350 processing fee. Individuals will receive a written
confirmation of cancellation from Fastener Training Institute. All no-shows
will be invoiced the full registration fees. The Fastener Training Institute
reserves the right to change instructors or cancel seminars and cannot be
held responsible for costs incurred other than the registration fee.
