COURSE DETAILS
Have you ever wanted to know more about how threaded fasteners are
made? Although there are different methods which can be employed, the
most common way of forming a fastener is by cold heading.
This webinar introduces participants to a high-level overview of cold
heading: its advantages, what happens in a cold heading machine,
different types and descriptions of machines, and the tooling necessary to
make it all happen.
After completing the webinar, attendees will understand what types of
parts make excellent candidates for cold heading and how a part turns
from a blank piece of raw material to a nearly finished fastener.
