All students will receive the FTI Basic Fastener Handbook. TOPICS INCLUDE Fastener Basics Q & A on some basics Fastener Standards & Screw Threads; Including ISO Metric Standards, including structural standards Where and how to find information Fastener Technical Terminology Key terminology including Tensile, Proof Load, Hardness, Go/No-Go, Tolerance, and Core Hardness Understanding Fastener Strength and Hardness Grading system comparisons Grades: why it makes a difference to use the correct grade When grades can be substituted Call-Outs: do grade and property class specifications matter Platings, Coatings and Finishes for Fasteners Comparison and benefits of finishes Platings: why it makes a difference to use the correct plating When platings can be substituted PRICE AND REGISTRATION This full-day comprehensive training session is available for just $250 per person (valued at $549). JOIN US AFTER THE CLASS After the class, join us for the Pac-West Fastener Association After Hours event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made no later than two weeks prior to class and are subject to a $100 processing fee. All no-shows will be invoiced for full registration fees. The Fastener Training Institute reserves the right to change instructors or cancel seminars and cannot be held responsible for costs incurred other than the registration fee.
