Explore the nuances of fastener applications and design concepts to understand why certain head styles, drive features, thread forms, materials, heat treatments and plating and coatings are used. Fastener expert Laurence Claus, Industrial Fasteners Institute’s Director of Education and Training, will engage attendees of all levels and across all specialties, with a special emphasis on OEM’s. By day’s end, attendees will have a vast appreciation of the diversity and breadth of fastener designs, understand how fasteners are produced and recognize cost variations across fasteners.
