Fastener Training Week in Los Angeles, CA Dates: December 4 - December 8, 2023 Time: Monday instruction will begin at 10:00 a.m. and Friday instruction will end at 12:00 p.m. Please make travel arrangements accordingly. Location: Holiday Inn La Mirada 14299 Firestone Blvd. La Mirada, CA 90638 Discounted room rates available for $129 per night View the Fastener Training Week – Los Angeles flyer The Fastener Training Institute and the Industrial Fasteners Institute (IFI) continue their partnership to present Fastener Training Week - five intensive days of education and plant tours as part of the acclaimed FTI Certified Fastener Specialist™ (CFS) advanced technical training program. After completing this invaluable industry training in a small group environment and passing a final exam, attendees are eligible for the CFS designation. Fastener Training Week in Los Angeles, CA is hosted by the Pacific-West Fastener Association. Plant tours will be held at Nylok, Socket Source and Atlas Testing Lab. The curriculum includes: Thread specifications Material specifications Process specifications Dimensional specifications Quality systems and specifications Lot traceability Test reports Print reading and tolerances Thread gaging and dimension inspection Torque tension Learning labs, interactive exercises and quizzes to reinforce learning Plant tours of manufacturing, secondary processes and testing facilities Who Should Attend: The five-day training is advanced, so we recommend attendees have two years of experience. 1. Fastener distributors 2. Fastener manufacturers 3. End users 4. OEMs 5. Sales, purchasing, engineering, manufacturing or quality assurance professionals Registration Includes: Five consecutive days of training Training materials Continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments Transportation for all plant tours Certificate of Completion Eligibility for the Certified Fastener Specialist™ designation Required Materials: Each participating company is REQUIRED to bring a copy of either the 10th or 11th edition of the IFI Inch Fastener Standards book. 10th edition books can be ordered through FTI but must be done so two weeks prior to class. Select “Additional IFI Inch Standards Book” ($320) during registration check-out. Pricing Information: Registration fees are per person for five days of training. Early Bird Rates (paid by November 26, 2023): Single participant - $3300 Additional participant: $2800 Early Bird Rates (paid by November 26, 2023) for Pac-West, NFDA, IFI, MWFA, NCFA, SFA, and AIM Prime members: Single participant - $2800 Additional participant - $2300 Prices increase by $500 after November 26, 2023. Additional IFI Inch Standards Book $320.00 Cancellations and Refunds: Cancellations and requests for refunds must be made no later than two weeks before the start of Fastener Training Week and are subject to a $350 processing fee. All no-shows will be invoiced for full registration fees. The Fastener Training Institute reserves the right to change instructors or cancel seminars and cannot be held responsible for costs incurred other than the registration fee.
