Participants will emerge with a better understanding of the following: Meanings behind the terms used to describe thread characteristics Differences between and how to distinguish standard, fine, and extra fine thread pitches Reading or generating an accurate thread description (designation) Pitch Diameter and why is it important What “alphabet soup” of letters and numbers related to thread fit means Difference between right and left handed threads System 21 and System 22 meaning related to inspecting threads Who Should Participate Anyone relatively new to the industry who needs to understand threads Anyone who would like to learn more about metric threads Thread rolling, lead-men or supervisors Quality, engineering, and sales professionals Anyone interested in learning more about the fastener industry Registration/Pricing The cost to participate is $140 per person or $550 for groups up to five.
